The Phoenix Museum of History features a main exhibit hall that highlights the history in the Salt River Valley. From the Hohokam people to modern day Phoenix, the entire history is in this exhibit. Children will be able to interact with Hancock’s Store, a reproduction of Phoenix’s first general store.

Many of Glendale’s public parks, Foothills Park and Sahuaro Ranch Park, just to name two, include recreation areas and sports fields. In addition, Glendale features three dog parks where dog-owners can bring their pets for off-leash fun and exercise while socializing with other dog-owners and dogs.
